Other operating expenses mainly concern allocations to and/or releases from non-employee-related provisions, corporate taxes, as well as expenses for compensation and service guarantees. Other operating expenses increased by €25 million in 2024 compared to 2023. The increase is mainly attributable to the organisation's growth and price indexation. In addition, in 2024 there was an allocation (2023: net release) primarily to other provisions related to liabilities as of the balance sheet date, the extent or timing of which is still uncertain.
